not that i give much credence to the ratings on citysearch most of the time, but this place has a 9.9 which must be one of the, if not the highest rated restaurant on citysearch LA.

A surprisingly well-polished little gem in an unsurprisingly unpolished mini-mall in silverlake. Just a few doors down from Pho Cafe, Rambutan is another reason not to judge a book by its cover. or something. have to say, generally not a fan of the strip malls that seem to dominate the La urban jungle. but with tere's for mexican over on melrose and these 2 places (pho cafe and rambutan) I might have to start giving more of these little places a chance.
