I've had better Indian food. There I said it.
Right off the bat, the mango laasi was so sweet and syrupy I had to water it down. I usually like the overly sweet beverages but this was just too much. Maybe it was just an off night, but the waiter seemed grumpy, they were "out" of several dishes, and everything seemed bland.
The dahl was perhaps one of the worst I've ever had. The lamb actually tasted like beef and I'm beginning to think it actually was. Everything else we had was merely adequate. Bartha was decent, chicken tika masala was ok, the sauce was kind of thick and sweet tasting too. Maybe this is a theme here?
Also, for a Sunday night there were only about 10 people in the restaurant and we were 5 of them.
